The Ibera Greek Tortoise (Testudo graeca ibera) is a small to medium-sized tortoise native to regions of Greece and Turkey. These tortoises typically have a domed shell with colors ranging from yellow to brown, often with intricate patterns. Their limbs are stout and equipped with sharp claws for digging. Ibera Greek Tortoises have a distinctive yellow or cream-colored plastron (underside of the shell) with dark markings. They have a relatively small size compared to some other tortoise species, usually reaching lengths of 6 to 10 inches (15 to 25 centimeters) when fully grown.

Ibera Greek Tortoises are known for their docile and gentle nature. They are often described as curious and enjoy exploring their environment. However, they can also be shy and may retreat into their shell if they feel threatened or stressed.
